The British Guide to Showing Off is a critically-acclaimed documentary, using observational filming, unique archive, exuberant animation and plenty of humour to reveal the 40 year history of The Alternative Miss World, with contributors including Andrew Logan, Brian Eno, Richard O’Brien, Zandra Rhodes and Grayson Perry.
To coincide with the 2014 Show, the film is being released through www.wearecolony.com, with exclusive access to previously unreleased deleted scenes, interviews with Andrew, the contestants and the filmmakers, hundreds of stills, Show memorabilia, and much more. Andrew Logan Retrospective at The Gallery, Liverpool
A large collection of Andrew’s work is currently on show at The Gallery, Liverpool (click on the photo above for more information). The exhibition runs from the 26th of October to the 21st of November and features a selection of portraits, sculptures and jewellery as well as new commissions created for the exhibitions.
The retrospective is presented by Homotopia as part of Independent the Liverpool Biennial.
